HSSC CET 2025: Haryana CM Naib Singh Saini has announced that the Common Eligibility Test i.e. CET will be conducted in May 2025. CET exam is conducted by Haryana Staff Selection Commission for recruitment to Group C, Group D and non-gazetted posts. Giving information about CET, the Chief Minister tweeted on the social media platform X, ‘CET exam will be conducted in the coming month of May in accordance with the new rules and norms.

Many changes in CET

Haryana Staff Selection Commission had invited applications for CET 2025 in January. This time CET will be held with many changes. It will be valid for 3 years. 10 times more shortlisted candidates will be called for the screening test than the posts. Till now four times were called. Along with this, the 5 marks given on socio-economic basis till now will not be available. Recruitment of Haryana Police, Jail Department and Home Guard will also be done under CET.

Previous Year Exam Date

Last year, the state government had also announced to give Rs 9,000 per month to CET pass candidates.

Earlier, the main examination of General Eligibility Test (CET) in Haryana was conducted between 13 May to 15 July in the year 2023. Whereas in the year 2022, this exam was conducted on 5th and 6th November.
