Kia India has opened the booking window for its latest offering Syros SUV from today. However, the company has not yet revealed its price and delivery details. It will be introduced to the general public at the 2025 Auto Expo. Let’s know about the official launch date and booking details of the vehicle.
Booking Details
Kia Syros, which comes with many segment-first features, can be booked by paying just Rs 25,000. The company has officially announced that the variant-wise price list of this sub-4-meter SUV will be presented on February 1. It is expected that the delivery of this SUV will start by the end of February.
What is special about Kia Syros
Developed on the company’s reinforced K1 platform, this affordable SUV will be placed between Seltos and Sonet. Its base variant is full of features. Compared to Sonet, this SUV with a long wheelbase is equipped with advanced features like Level-2 ADAS and sunroof.
Interior and Features
Talking about the cabin, it gets a 12.3-inch dual-screen setup for infotainment and driver display, dual-zone automatic AC, 4-way powered driver seat, ambient lighting, wireless phone charger, and dual pan sunroof with powered windows and captain seats. Talking about safety, it is equipped with 6 airbags with a 360-degree camera and Level-2 ADAS.
Engine and Performance
The new Syros has also been introduced in two engine options. Customers will be able to buy Kia Syros in diesel and petrol options. The first is a 1.5-liter diesel engine, which generates 116 PS of power and 250 Nm of peak torque. At the same time, the second 1-liter turbo petrol engine generates 120 PS of power and 172 Nm of peak torque.
You will be able to buy it in 6-speed manual, 6-speed automatic, and 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox options. The mileage of this new 5-seater SUV from Kia has not been revealed yet. Its estimated starting price will be Rs 9-10 lakh ex-showroom. It is expected that it will also be introduced in Electric Avatar in the coming days.
