2026 Skoda Slavia Facelift Launch – Bookings Open with New Look and Features

2026 Skoda Slavia Facelift: In the automotive world, Skoda has always been synonymous with reliability and robust engineering, and the company has now introduced a new variant of its popular sedan, the Slavia. Moving beyond mere cosmetic updates, Skoda has placed significant emphasis on safety and comfort this time around.

Let’s take a look at what the new Slavia has to offer. The 2026 Skoda Slavia Facelift features major upgrades across design, features, and safety. Notable additions include a new 8-speed automatic transmission, an AI assistant, and a rear-seat massager.

Engine

The company offers three powertrain combinations. The entry-level model comes with a 1.0-litre TSI turbo-petrol engine paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox; this same engine is also available with an 8-speed torque converter automatic—a feature Skoda claims to be introducing for the first time in this segment.

Above this sits the 1.5-litre TSI four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine, mated to a 7-speed DSG dual-clutch automatic transmission. The 1.0-litre engine delivers 114bhp of power and 178Nm of torque, while the 1.5-litre unit generates 147.51bhp and 250Nm of torque.

Design

In terms of exterior design, new LED headlamps and fog lamps lend the front profile a more premium look. At the rear, LED tail-lamps with sequential turn indicators give the car a distinctive identity at night.

The wheel designs have also been updated; the base ‘Classic’ variant gets steel wheels with covers, while top variants offer 16-inch alloy wheels in various finishes. The Monte Carlo variant stands out with its unique alloy wheel design, red grille stripes, and red brake callipers. Interior

Stepping into the cabin, the first thing that catches the eye is the 26.03cm Virtual Cockpit; in high-end variants, this replaces the traditional analogue dials and features turn-by-turn navigation. It also has a 25.6cm touchscreen infotainment system with built-in connectivity and a Google Cloud-powered AI assistant.

The instrument cluster size varies by variant: the Signature and Sportline trims get a 20.32cm unit, while the Prestige and Monte Carlo feature the larger 26.03cm Virtual Cockpit. The Classic and Classic+ variants come with analogue dials and a 17.7cm touchscreen.

Safety Features

Skoda has left no stone unturned when it comes to safety. The new Slavia adds a 360-degree area view camera, further strengthening a safety setup that already includes six airbags and over 25 safety features. The Signature variant gets a reverse-view camera, whereas the Sportline, Prestige, and Monte Carlo trims feature the full 360-degree area view system. This sedan has received a 5-star rating from Global NCAP for both adult and child occupant protection.
