Veteran Actor Nana Patekar Passes Away at 75 After Cardiac Arrest in Goa

Nana Patekar Died:- Veteran Bollywood actor Nana Patekar has passed away at the age of 75. The veteran actor passed away at a private hospital in Dona Paula. A pall of gloom has descended upon the Bollywood industry following the news of his death.
This news has sent a wave of shock and grief across the entire entertainment world.

He was found unconscious at his home in Dona Paula, Goa, and was immediately rushed to the hospital, where doctors declared him dead. According to available information, Nana Patekar suffered a severe cardiac arrest and was subsequently hospitalised.

Doctors at Manipal Hospital declared Nana Patekar dead at 5:20 AM. CPR was administered continuously for about 45 minutes in an attempt to revive him, but there was no response. Dr Shekhar Salkar, Head of the Oncology Department at Manipal Hospital, shared the news of his passing.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah described Nana Patekar’s passing as an irreparable loss to the world of art. He stated that for five decades, Nana Patekar made a lasting impression on audiences with his natural acting and powerful dialogue delivery. Whether dealing with serious social issues or satire, he made every character he portrayed feel real.

Nana Patekar’s Career
He made his acting debut in 1978 with the film ‘Gaman’. However, it was the 1986 release ‘Ankush’ that brought him recognition. Throughout his career, he worked in both Hindi and Marathi cinema. In 2025, he appeared in ‘Housefull 5’, adding to his filmography. Nana Patekar appeared in special roles in the Shahid Kapoor-starrer ‘Oh Romeo’ and Anil Kapoor’s ‘Subhedar’.

A doctor at the Goa hospital where Nana Patekar breathed his last stated that every effort was made to save him, but his life could not be saved. In his final moments, Nana Patekar was restless and drenched in sweat. He had messaged a friend saying that he was not feeling well.
