How many marks are required to pass?

To pass the UPTET 2026, the Commission has set minimum marks for different categories. General category candidates must achieve 60 per cent marks. A minimum of 90 marks will be required in the 150-mark exam.

On the other hand, 55 per cent marks have been set for candidates from the OBC, SC, and ST categories. This means they will need to score approximately 82 marks. Only candidates who meet the prescribed cutoff will be considered eligible for an eligibility certificate.
