Let’s take a detailed look at each of them.
New Sierra Trim
It hasn’t been long since the new Sierra hit the market, yet Tata Motors is already preparing to introduce a new trim for it. While the company has not yet revealed full details about this variant, the Sierra is expected to receive the ‘#DARK’ treatment. This will likely involve cosmetic changes, though the SUV’s basic design and features are expected to remain largely unchanged.
Sierra.EV
A new trim for the Sierra.is also expected to arrive soon for electric SUV enthusiasts. It will feature the ‘#DARK’ theme, giving the SUV a more premium and sporty look, while the existing basic design and packaging are expected to remain the same.
The Sierra is built on Tata’s Acti.EV+ platform, which is shared with the Harrier. EV. It offers 63kWh and 75kWh battery pack options. With the larger battery pack, the company claims up to 665 km of range, and the vehicle supports fast charging up to 120kW.
Tigor Facelift
Both the petrol and EV versions of the Tata Tigor are expected to receive a facelift in the coming months. The most significant change in the ICE Tigor facelift is likely to be in its exterior design; the front styling may draw inspiration from the facelifted Tiago.
The new Tigor is expected to offer updated colour options and a cabin with more features than before, although full details regarding these new features have not yet been revealed. However, it is likely to retain the existing 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine. Tigor.EV Facelift
The Tigor.EV is also set to receive a facelift. Its design is likely to mirror the Tiago. EV,EV, creating a more cohesive styling link between the two electric models.
While this facelift is expected to add new features, mechanical changes are unlikely; the existing 26kWh battery pack is expected to be retained. The electric motor will likely deliver around 75PS of power and 170Nm of torque, with a range of approximately 315km per charge.
Safari.EV
Among all these launches, the Safari.EV will be the highlight. Tata Motors is expected to launch its first 7-seater electric SUV around this year’s festive season. It is likely to be offered in both 6-seater and 7-seater configurations.
The Safari.EV will be based on the Acti.EV+ platform and is expected to offer 65kWh, 75kWh, and 80kWh battery pack options. Reports suggest that the 80kWh battery pack could also be shared with the Avinya models.
The SUV is expected to feature both RWD and AWD drivetrain options. The cabin is likely to be highly tech-laden, featuring a triple-screen setup—similar to other Tata electric cars—and a host of connected features.
