Design
In terms of design, the Bonneville T4 bears a strong resemblance to the Bonneville T40. Its overall size, proportions, and classic styling align with the rest of the family. However, Triumph has incorporated specific cosmetic changes to give this model a distinct identity.
The Bonneville T4 is available in three colour options: Phantom Black, Carnival Red, and Competition Green. Additionally, the font and size of the Triumph and Bonneville T4 logos differ from those on the T40.
Smart Features: LCD Display
Regarding features, the most significant difference between the Bonneville T4 and the T40 lies in the instrument cluster. The T4 features a colour LCD display, rather than the TFT display found on the T40. This change reflects the company’s effort to make the bike more competitively priced and accessible.
It features Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation. Riders can access functions like calls and contacts using handlebar-mounted switchgear. The bike also comes equipped with full-LED lighting, daytime running lights, and an emergency deceleration warning system.
350cc Engine and 28.2 bhp Power
The Triumph Bonneville T4 utilises the TR Series liquid-cooled, 350cc single-cylinder engine. However, for the Bonneville T4, the engine features a revised cylinder head and a unique tune. It generates 28.2 bhp of power at 7,000 rpm and 31 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm.
Riding Modes and Dual-Channel ABS
The Bonneville T4 offers three riding modes: Road, Rain, and Eco. These modes adjust throttle response, traction control, and ABS settings accordingly.
The Road mode is suitable for standard riding, while the Rain mode is designed to provide greater confidence on wet roads. The Eco mode focuses on fuel-efficient riding.
For safety, the bike is equipped with dual-channel ABS. Its braking setup includes a front disc paired with a twin-piston front calliper, which is expected to offer the rider better control during braking.
