Toyota Glanza Facelift to Launch October 14 With ADAS, New Engine

Toyota Glanza Facelift: Toyota is preparing to launch the Glanza facelift with significant updates in 2026. After Maruti Suzuki launches its new Baleno facelift, Toyota is also expected to launch the Glanza facelift in October 2026. Like the Baleno facelift, the Toyota Glanza facelift is expected to feature Level 2 ADAS, new features, and a 1.2-litre 3-cylinder engine.

Rather than minor cosmetic tweaks, the car is expected to receive major upgrades, including Level 2 ADAS, ventilated seats, a 360-degree camera, and a new 1.2-litre 3-cylinder engine. Let’s take a look at the details.

Toyota Glanza Facelift Launch

Regarding the launch, reports suggest the Toyota Glanza facelift is expected in October 2026, though the company has not yet confirmed the exact date. The new Glanza will likely emphasise features and safety; rather than making drastic exterior changes, Toyota will aim to maintain the car’s distinct identity.

Toyota Glanza Facelift Design

In terms of design, Toyota might give the grille a unique look to ensure the Glanza’s front profile appears understated yet premium. The basic headlamp design—featuring LED DRLs and turn indicators—is expected to remain similar to the current model. It may also include LED fog lamps.

No major changes are expected for the side and rear profiles. The new Glanza may retain 16-inch wheels, LED tail lamps, and the current rear bumper style. In essence, while the facelifted model may not look drastically different on the outside, the interior experience could feel significantly different.

Level 2 ADAS

A standout feature of the new Toyota Glanza could be its Level 2 ADAS package. Level 2 ADAS offers enhanced safety while driving. The new Glanza is expected to come with features such as Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB), Lane Keep Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control, and Automatic High Beam Assist. These features could provide the driver with extra assistance on the highway.

Toyota Glanza Facelift Features

In terms of features, the new Glanza is likely to see significant improvements over the current model. It is expected to feature front ventilated seats, which would be particularly beneficial in hot weather. It may also include UV-cut glass to better protect the cabin from sunlight and UV rays.

For infotainment, it could include a 9-inch touchscreen system, a wireless phone charger, and automatic climate control. A Head-Up Display (HUD) is also expected, allowing the driver to view essential information directly in their line of sight and reducing the need to look at the screen frequently.

Toyota Glanza Facelift Engine

The Toyota Glanza Facelift may see major changes not just in features but also in the engine. The company might replace the current 1.2-litre, 4-cylinder K12N series naturally aspirated petrol engine with a 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder Z12E series petrol engine.

This engine has already been used in the Swift. It generates approximately 81 bhp of power and a peak torque of 112 Nm. In the new Glanza, it is expected to be offered with both manual and AMT gearbox options.

Toyota Glanza Facelift Price

On pricing, Toyota may position it slightly higher than the current model, especially given the inclusion of Level 2 ADAS and other premium features. Official pricing details have not been revealed yet.
