Haryana News: In the new academic session, more than 34 thousand children from poor families in Haryana will now be able to study in private schools absolutely free. These children will get admission under the Chief Minister’s Equal Education Relief, Assistance and Grant Scheme (CHIRAAG) and these children will not have to pay any fees. 34,271 seats from 5th to 12th class have been shown vacant in 700 private recognized schools across the state.

Under the Chirag scheme, children of such families will get admission, whose annual income is less than one lakh 80 thousand rupees. The government will reimburse the fees to the school operators for the education of these children. The draw will be taken out between April 1 and 5
If more applications are received than the available seats in a school, then children will get admission through a draw. The draw for this will be held between April 1 and 5. Apart from this, all schools will have to complete the admission process by April 15. The list of successful students will be displayed on the school’s notice board. If the selected students do not take admission within the stipulated time, then students from the waiting list will be given admission in their place from April 16 to 30.

The admission process must be completed by April 15, and the list of selected students will be displayed on the school’s notice board. If any selected students do not enroll within the specified time, students from the waiting list will be admitted between April 16 and 30.
