Peanuts (roasted) – 1 cup
Ghee – 1-2 tablespoons
Grated jaggery – 1/2 cup
Sesame seeds – 1-2 tablespoons (optional)
Cardamom powder – 1/2 teaspoon

How is Peanut Gajak made?

Step 1- First,peel the roasted peanuts and grind them coarsely. Then,add a spoonful of ghee to a pan,add the jaggery,and melt it over low heat.

Step 2- Now prepare the syrup,then turn off the heat. Add the ground peanuts and cardamom powder and mix well. If desired,you can also add sesame seeds.

Step 3- Then,lightly grease a plate with ghee,spread the mixture on it,and roll it out with a rolling pin. Once it cools,cut it into pieces of your choice.
