- One teaspoon of cumin powder
- One teaspoon of black pepper powder
- One teaspoon of Kashmiri red chili

Method of making black Chana curry :
To make black Chana curry, first of all, we will soak the Chana overnight. Heat two tablespoons of oil in a cooker. Add half a teaspoon of cumin seeds, two bay leaves, and two dry red chilies. When the tempering crackles well, add finely chopped onion and finely chopped ginger garlic paste. When it cooks for 1 to 2 minutes, add spices.When the spices and onion are fried well, add tomato paste and fry for two to three minutes.
When the spices start leaving oil, add the water-soaked Chana to it and fry for 1 to 2 minutes. If you like thick gravy, then grind half a bowl of chickpeas coarsely. This will make the gravy quite thick. Fry for 2 minutes and add two glasses of water and let it blow for four to five whistles. In this Kala Chana Sabzi recipe, you do not have to boil the Chana first. It will change the taste of this dish.
