Recipe for Shikanji Masala

Ingredients:

Cumin seeds: 2 tbsp
Black salt: 1 tbsp
Fennel seeds: 1 tsp
Black pepper: 1/2 tsp
Dry ginger: 1/2 tsp
Cardamom: 4-5

Method:

Lightly roast the cumin seeds on low flame.

Mix all the ingredients together and grind them finely.

Store it in an airtight container.

3 Refreshing Drinks Made With Shikanji Masala

Shikanji: Mix 1-2 teaspoons of Shikanji Masala, lemon juice and sugar to taste in a glass of cold water. Add ice and serve chilled.
Masala Buttermilk: Mix 1/2 teaspoon of Shikanji Masala and a little black salt in a glass of cold buttermilk. Garnish with mint leaves and serve.
Masala Soda: Mix 1 teaspoon of Shikanji Masala, lemon juice and sugar to taste in a glass of cold soda. Add ice and serve.
