Khoya: 250 grams (try to make the khoya fresh), Powdered sugar: 100 grams, Cardamom powder: ½ teaspoon, Dry fruits: 2 tablespoons (finely chopped), Ghee: 1 tablespoon
Method of making Khoya Laddu
First, heat 1 tablespoon of ghee in a heavy-bottomed pan. When the ghee is hot, add khoya to it. Now fry it on a low flame for 5-7 minutes while stirring continuously. Khoya has to be fried till its colour becomes light golden and a pleasing aroma starts coming from it.
After this, turn off the gas and let the khoya cool down a bit. Keep in mind that the khoya should not cool down completely, but should remain slightly warm. By doing this, sugar and khoya mix well.
Now, add powdered sugar and cardamom powder to the lightly heated khoya and mix well. After this, add chopped dry fruits and mix once again.
