The display is rumoured to be a flat 1.5K OLED panel with a 120 Hz refresh rate, but apparently it can jump up to 165 Hz in certain games or situations, you know. The camera module is also said to look pretty similar to the Realme 16 Pro+, so design changes may be more like small adjustments rather than a full redesign. Performance
For the chip, it’s supposed to be MediaTek Dimensity 7500. It’s a mid-range processor, so expect smooth scrolling and decent gaming, but not that flagship-like speed. Camera
Now the camera part… the main shooter is said to have a 200MP sensor, the same resolution tier as the 16 Pro series. Also, Realme’s own 15 Pro reportedly didn’t include telephoto, so if the rumour is true, that would be a noticeable upgrade for portraits, zoom shots, and those moments where you’re like, “Why can’t I just get closer?” The leak also mentions an ultra-wide camera, but the resolution is unknown. Digital Chat Station also claims the 17 Pro+ goes with a 200MP triple camera setup using a periscope-style zoom, and that sort of matches the general vibe of this rumour.
Battery
The headline is ‘10,000 mAh battery’. That’s way above the 7,000 mAh rumoured earlier for the Realme 16 Pro, and it could put the phone among the bigger-battery models out there. Charging speed has not been mentioned, so it’s too early to tell how quickly it’ll top up. And yeah, a battery this large could also mean a thicker or heavier body, so that’s something to pay attention to when it finally shows up.
Launch date and price
Right now there’s no confirmed launch date and no official pricing. Digital Chat Station also says the Realme 17 Pro+ won’t launch in China and will instead aim for overseas markets. A couple of rumours suggest it could still arrive in India, but Realme hasn’t confirmed anything yet. Since last year’s lineup landed in January, similar timing feels possible, though it’s really just a guess, not some promise.
