POCO has quietly launched the POCO X8s, which becomes the fifth smartphone in the POCO X8 series. It joins the POCO X8 Pro, X8 Pro Max, X8, and X8 Power in this lineup. The POCO X8s is a 5G smartphone featuring a 1.5K OLED display, 100W fast charging, a 6330mAh battery, and a 32MP selfie camera. Let’s take a look at the features and pricing of the POCO X8s 5G.
POCO X8s 5G Specifications
The POCO X8s 5G features a compact 6.35-inch display. It is a flat, punch-hole style screen with 1.5K resolution, utilizing an LTPO OLED panel. For device unlocking and security, the smartphone is equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor.
The POCO X8s 5G runs on Android 16. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset—an octa-core processor built on a 4nm fabrication process, capable of reaching clock speeds ranging from 1.84 GHz up to 2.8 GHz.
For photography, the POCO 5G smartphone features a dual rear camera setup: a 50-megapixel main sensor (accompanied by an LED flash) paired with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens. The POCO X8s 5G smartphone features a 32-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calling.
For power, the smartphone is equipped with a 6330mAh battery, supported by 100W fast-charging technology. It also supports 22.5W reverse charging.
The POCO X8s 5G comes with an IP68 rating, providing protection against dust and water. In terms of connectivity, it includes Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and an infrared sensor. The screen of this new 5G phone features ultra-slim bezels, measuring just 1.18 mm in width.

The POCO X8s 5G has currently been launched in Vietnam and is now available for pre-order. It is offered in two variants: the base model comes with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, priced at VND 11,500,000 (approximately 42,000 INR). The top-tier variant features 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, priced at VND 14,000,000 (approximately 51,000 INR). The 5G phone is available in three colours: white, black, and blue.
