However, there has been no official announcement from the government regarding this yet. It is worth noting that the 23rd installment of the PM Kisan scheme was released in June, which suggests that the 24th installment could be issued in October. The government releases installments under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme at four-month intervals.
Under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme, Rs 2,000 is disbursed every four months. In total, Rs 6,000 is transferred annually directly into the bank accounts of the farmers. Consequently, this upcoming October installment is crucial for farmers who are currently preparing for the sowing of Rabi crops and procuring seeds and fertilizers.

The government has not yet provided any information regarding when the next installment will be issued, even though the four-month interval for the 24th installment concludes in October. Several media reports suggest that the 24th installment of the PM Kisan scheme could be released after Dussehra.

When will the 24th installment of PM Kisan be released?

Following the release of installments for popular schemes like ‘Ladli Behna’ and ‘Maiya Samman Yojana’, it is now the turn of the PM Kisan scheme. Additionally, the booking of free gas cylinders under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana also begins ahead of Diwali.
