A small role and then… waiting for recognition
You will be surprised to know that Jitendra was first seen in Anupam Kher and Naseeruddin Shah’s hit film ‘A Wednesday’ in 2007. Imagine, 18 years ago! His role in it was so small that hardly anyone noticed him. He came and went in the role of a taxi driver, did not get any special recognition.
The rise of ‘Jeetu Bhaiya’ and then the threat of ‘Secretary Ji’!
But Jitendra did not give up. He kept working hard. Then came the year 2019, when a series called ‘Kota Factory’ made him a star overnight. The character of ‘Jeetu Bhaiya’ created such a stir that his name became on the tongue of every child.
And then, a year later in 2020, the first season of ‘Panchayat’ came, which added to Jitendra’s popularity. ‘Jitu Bhaiya’ had now become ‘Secretary Ji’ and he was the talk of the town everywhere. Today he has no dearth of anything, wealth, fame, everything!
From IIT to Acting: An Engineer’s Film Journey
According to a report, Jitendra Kumar’s net worth is around Rs 7 crore. He hails from Khairthal, Rajasthan. His father is a civil engineer and following his footsteps, Jitendra also studied civil engineering from IIT Kharagpur. But, destiny had something else in store! He left engineering and made his career in acting and look where he has reached today!

Jitendra is not only fond of acting, but also of writing poems. And yes, he was also seen in the lead role in the 2020 film ‘Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan’ with Ayushmann Khurrana, in which his work was highly appreciated.
