Monsoon Alert: The Meteorological Department has issued an alert, warning of heavy rains in most states of the country for the next 6 to 7 days. According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rains are expected in Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, and West Bengal until July 27. An alert has been issued due to light to moderate rainfall expected over the next seven days in eastern and central India. A warning of heavy rains has been issued for coastal Karnataka, Kerala, Telangana, and Andhra Pradesh until July 29.
