OnePlus Ace 7 Series Design and 9,000mAh Battery Revealed Ahead of October 29 Launch

OnePlus Ace 7, OnePlus Ace 7 Pro Design:  So OnePlus is already building hype for its next gaming phones, and for once it’s not even only leaks; it’s the company itself throwing out some design and colour details first. The OnePlus Ace 7 and Ace 7 Pro are said to land in China on October 29, and pre-orders are already up. Anyway, here’s what we can sort of piece together so far, based on what OnePlus has confirmed and what rumours are saying on the side.

Colour options

For the standard OnePlus Ace 7, you’re reportedly getting Tempered, Midnight Black, and Radiant White, which is pretty much glossy white too, just with a different naming vibe. The Ace 7 Pro, on the other hand, shows up with Windbreaker, Midnight Black, and Radiant White… though a few sources that translate the Chinese names also suggest it might be known as Lightning White. Since these are from China, the final official English labels could shift. You know how it goes.

Tempered is described as a silver tone that kind of fades into a warm copper orange nearer the bottom. For the Pro, Windbreaker is said to be a light blue with a frosted, brushed-style surface, which gives that kind of “touch” energy that gaming fans usually like.

Design details

Design wise it sounds like both phones are pretty close. You get a flat metal frame, and the back uses what OnePlus calls AG silk glass. OnePlus claims it feels smoother, plus better grip, but one report says it might be a matte fibreglass type finish… so yeah, it’s probably worth waiting for the final spec sheet before assuming anything

On the back there’s big Ace branding, and also the OnePlus logo. Early leaked images point to a square ish camera island sitting up on the top left, and it looks really similar to what we’ve seen on the OnePlus 16 too

There are two gaming centered details as well. There’s a hidden air intake named Storm Island in the body, meant to boost airflow. Then there’s a custom Interstellar Light Effect, basically that breathing light look, meant as a gaming flourish but also like a visual heads up for calls and notifications

Performance and cooling

OnePlus has confirmed the Ace 7 Pro comes with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. The regular Ace 7 is rumored to use a slightly watered down version , the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 V, but OnePlus hasn’t locked that in officially yet

OnePlus is also pushing what it calls the industry’s first dual-path air cooling system, and the messaging says it goes beyond the usual vapor chamber setup. So basically more airflow routes, or at least that’s the pitch

What leaks suggest

Since OnePlus hasn’t posted full specifications yet, a lot of this stays unofficial. Leaks say the Ace 7 might have a 6.78 inch 1.5K OLED panel, plus a 185Hz refresh rate. Battery wise, it’s rumored at about 9,000mAh, with charging around 100W or 120W, depending on the exact model

As for the Ace 7 Pro, leaks suggest a 200MP main camera, plus a 50MP telephoto lens. For a quick comparison, the OnePlus Ace 6 reportedly had a 165Hz display and a 7,800mAh battery, so this would be a noticeable lift overall

Price and availability

Pricing hasn’t been shared yet. The Ace line usually stays China only, and OnePlus pulled back from the US and European markets this year, so a broad international rollout doesn’t really feel likely

One extra note: there’s a claim these models could show up in India under the Realme brand, but right now that’s basically speculation, nothing that’s been properly verified or backed up
