Motorola Signature 27 Launch:- Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6, 200MP Camera & Expected Price Motorola is pegging November 5 as the global launch date for the Signature 27, and that pretty much kills off those “coming this November” hints that have been floating around for weeks. The phone first popped up at Snapdragon Summit 2026 back in September, and Motorola’s already calling it the company’s most premium device so far… like, ultra-premium, honestly.
Now for India, though, nothing official is locked in yet, so we’re still in that “wait for the official updates” limbo, you know how it is. Below is what we’ve got, plus a couple of bits that are still a bit ??? unclear, and might change once Motorola finally speaks up.
Launch date expected
Motorola’s official X account has now confirmed the global launch for November 5. The teaser is basically that “see for yourself” vibe, classic brand showmanship or whatever. Motorola’s India website and even the US page were only saying “November” earlier, so the exact timing for India still isn’t confirmed. Next confirmation steps should come from Motorola’s own channels, either way.
Expected price
Motorola hasn’t shared pricing yet, so right now it’s listings + educated guesses, and that’s it. One European retailer showed the 12GB + 512GB variant in Coal Smoke for about €1,595. That roughly translates to around ₹1.5 lakh with current exchange rates. A digit report claims the India price could land closer to about ₹1 lakh, but sure, that number feels more like a rough estimate than a final price tag. And if you compare it to the predecessor, which was priced at €999, this could be a pretty massive jump, no question.
Chipset and performance
The Signature 27 is expected to run Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6, a 2 nm chip Motorola has confirmed. There’s also a Geekbench 7 listing going around with 3,313 for single-core and 11,088 for multi-core. That listing also mentions Android 17 and 12 GB of RAM. Since the listing looks like a pre-launch build, performance at retail could shift a bit, or maybe a lot.
Display Quality
Most folks are expecting a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with a 165 Hz refresh rate, plus Dolby Vision. But different sources are throwing in different resolution details, even panel-type stuff, so treat all of it as tentative until Motorola posts the actual spec sheet.
Camera quality
Motorola has reportedly confirmed a 50MP Sony LYTIA 910 main camera and a 200MP periscope telephoto, with claims of up to 100x Super Zoom. Some rumours also mention a 50MP ultra-wide camera. On top of that, audio is tuned by Bang & Olufsen, which is rare in this segment, though it’s said to be part of the package.
Battery performance
Battery info is the messy part. You’ll see rumours swing between 6,000 mAh and 7,000 mAh, so it’s still not clear what capacity Motorola will actually ship.
Conclusion
If the leaks are even half correct, the Signature 27 could end up being one of the most powerful phones around—strong flagship chipset, periscope zoom setup, and a pretty long software runway. But yeah, the price is the big question. In India, it’ll basically decide whether this actually creates a meaningful shake-up against the Samsung Galaxy S lineup or whether it ends up more in the “head to head” lane with the iPhone 17.
