The Modi government is considering approving an interest rate of 8.50 per cent for the financial years 2025 and 2026. If this announcement is made in April, the funds could be deposited into accounts by June. This is likely to result in a substantial deposit in the account.

    If an employee has up to ₹5 lakh in their PF account, they can expect to receive interest of approximately ₹42,500. This amount will be provided at an interest rate of 8.50%.
