NEET UG 2026: Big news is coming for students preparing for the medical entrance exam ‘NEET UG’ 2026. NTA has opened the ‘correction window’ for the application form from today, i.e., March 12, 2026. Candidates who made any mistakes while filling out the form can now correct their details on the official website, neet.nta.nic.in. This facility will be available only to those candidates who have completed their registration and paid the application fee. The NEET Correction Window has been opened from March 12 and will remain open till 11:50 pm on March 14, 2026. Corrections can be made only online.

Step 1: Must go to the official NEET UG website

Step 2: Click on the NEET UG 2026 application correction window link

Step 3: Log in using your application number and password.

Step 4: Open the application form and check the editable fields.

Step 5: Make the necessary changes carefully.

Step 6: Upload revised documents.

Step 7: Pay any additional fee, if applicable.
Step 8: Submit the corrected form.

Step 9: Download and save the confirmation page for future use.

22.60 Lakh Applications Received
More than 22.60 lakh applications have been received from across the country for this exam. The exam will be conducted on May 3, 2026. The exam will be conducted in pen-and-paper mode, with the exam time from 2 pm to 5 pm. This exam will provide admission to MBBS and other medical courses in government and private medical colleges across the country.

What information can be corrected?

  1. Candidates can make corrections in their father’s or mother’s name (both are not allowed).
  2. Category: Students can change their category (SC/ST/OBC/EWS).
  3. Educational details: Class 10th and 12th marks, school name, and passing year can be corrected.
  4. Exam centre and medium: Candidates can change their preferred exam city and the medium of the question paper (e.g., Hindi, English, etc.).
  5. Documents: If the uploaded signature is unclear, it can be re-uploaded.

Note: Candidates cannot change their registered mobile number, email ID, or Aadhaar card details.
