Objective of the scheme
This scheme run by the Haryana government is also known as Har Ghar Har Grahini Yojana. Under this scheme, women of Antyodaya families are given subsidy on gas cylinders. After subsidy, candidates can buy gas cylinder for just ₹ 500. For this, the Chief Minister of Haryana has launched the portal of Har Ghar Har Grahini Yojana. Where women can apply online.
Under this scheme, the government will spend Rs 1500 crore for women. The benefit of this scheme will be given to 50 lakh BPL and Antyodaya families. The aim of this scheme is to provide gas connection in every house. Women who still cook with wood or coal have to be freed from the stove.
