LPG Gas Cylinder Booking Rules: Amidst the prevailing tensions in the Middle East, reports regarding a shortage of LPG cylinders in India continue to gain momentum, leading to a worsening of the situation. People report that they are unable to receive supplies of gas cylinders, making even the simple act of cooking a struggle. However, the government has dismissed these claims as mere rumours.

Reiterating its stance, the Central Government has once again clarified that there is absolutely no shortage of LPG cylinders anywhere in India. Given this assurance, if you require a gas cylinder supply, there is no need to panic.

Under the new regulations, you can now conveniently book a second cylinder 25 days after booking your first one. This process is designed to be hassle-free. Previously, this waiting period was set at 21 days. If you do not receive your cylinder supply after booking, you can find out what steps to take in the section below.

How Soon Can You Expect Delivery After Booking?

If you have booked a gas cylinder, specific rules and regulations govern its delivery. According to these norms, the delivery of your LPG cylinder is required to be completed within 2 to 3 days. If, for any reason, the LPG cylinder cannot be delivered within the stipulated timeframe, you may visit or contact your local gas agency.

You can either call your gas agency’s contact number or visit the agency in person. If the gas agency fails to address your concerns, you have the option to escalate the matter by filing a complaint directly with the gas company itself. Once a complaint is registered, your issue will be resolved promptly and without any further inconvenience.

Which Numbers to Call for Complaints?

If your gas cylinder is not delivered after booking, do not worry. Indane Gas customers can contact the toll-free number 1800-2333-555 to register a complaint.

Similarly, HP Gas customers can register their complaints by calling the toll-free number 1800-2333-555. Meanwhile, if you have a Bharat Gas LPG cylinder, you can register a complaint on the toll-free number 1800-22-4344.
