The Kerala government is going to give a gift of 2% DA Hike to the state government employees before Onam 2026. This hike will come with the salary of August 2026 and will put an additional financial burden of ₹60 crore on the state government.
The DA is calculated on the basic salary, so those with a basic of Rs 30,000 will get Rs 600 and those with a basic of Rs 50,000 will get Rs 1,000 per month. This hike comes after the 10% DA hike in February 2026.
