UPSSSC: Over 600 vacant positions! January 25th is the last date to apply

UPSSSC: The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) is set to close the application window for the recruitment of more than 600 Stenographer positions across 69 departments. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria and have not yet submitted their applications can do so by visiting the official website (upsssc.gov.in) until January 25, 2025. Additionally, a correction window for making changes to the application form will be available until February 1, 2025.

Aims to fill a total of 661 positions

This recruitment initiative aims to fill a total of 661 positions, which includes 321 for General, 46 for EWS, 125 for OBC, and 14 for SC categories. Applicants from General, OBC, EWS, SC, ST, and PH (Physically Handicapped) categories are required to pay an application fee of Rs 25. The exam fee can be paid through the State Bank of India using the SBI I Collect fee mode or via e-challan.

How to apply

To apply, first visit the official UPSSSC website at upsssc.gov.in. Click on the registration link found on the homepage. Proceed to register yourself by following the prompts. Once registered, log into your account. Complete the application form and ensure you pay the application fee. After submitting, download the application form and keep a printed copy for your records.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Candidates must have successfully completed the Intermediate examination from the Board of Secondary Education, Uttar Pradesh, or an equivalent examination acknowledged by the Government.
  • A minimum typing speed of 80 words per minute in Hindi shorthand and 25 words per minute in Hindi typing is essential.
  • Applicants must have completed the CCC course offered by the DOEACC Society.
  • The age of candidates should fall between 18 and 40 years, with age relaxation provided for reserved categories in accordance with government regulations.
