UP Police Vacancy 2025 – The Uttar Pradesh government is taking significant steps to provide employment opportunities to the youth. The online application process for Sub-Inspector and Assistant Sub-Inspector positions is currently underway in the state. Applications for these positions can be submitted until January 19, 2026. Meanwhile, the Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh is planning another major recruitment drive in the new year 2026.
The state government is set to release an advertisement for recruitment to Constable and Jail Warder positions. Recruitment for approximately 25,000 vacant positions of Constable and Jail Warder is about to begin, and preparations have been completed. This information has been provided in the calendar released by the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board. This could be a New Year’s gift for the youth.

Eligibility for Constable Positions
The application process for Uttar Pradesh Police Constable positions will begin as soon as the notification is released. This announcement is expected in the first week of January. To apply, candidates must have passed Class 12th from a recognised board. The minimum age of the applicant should be 18 years, and the maximum age 22 years. The age of female candidates should not exceed 25 years. Reserved category candidates from the state will be given age relaxation as per the rules.
Which Positions Will Be Filled?
The UP Police Department will fill 22,000 positions,s including Police Constable, PAC, Special Security Force, PAC Women’s Battalion, and Mounted Police. In addition, 2800 vacant positions of Jail Warder will also be filled.

Know the Selection Process
The selection process for this recruitment will begin with a written examination. Candidates who achieve the required cutoff marks in this examination will be called for a physical test. During the physical test, candidates will have to complete a prescribed run and undergo physical measurements.
After the completion of this stage, candidates will have to participate in document verification and a medical examination. After all the stages of recruitment are completed, a final list will be released. Only those candidates whose names appear on the final list will be considered selected.
