Design and Comfort: Light but Not Flawless
The Noise Master Buds Max adhere to the company’s signature vinyl disc design, which is fashion-forward but picks up dust in the long run. The metallic headband and vegan leather earcups give a sophisticated touch without any compromise on durability. With a weight of 262 grams, these headphones feel light and easy to wear, even for extended listening periods of 2–3 hours.
They provide a good clamp grip, which keeps them in place even when there is movement. The foldability also brings in portability, and the carrying case provided makes storage easy. However, placing control buttons on the right earcup could have been more intuitive. It took a few days to get accustomed to the power, volume, and ANC buttons, as they tend to feel very similar to the touch.
Audio Quality: Balanced and Dynamic Sound
The Bose-tuned sound really comes through here. The Master Buds Max provides deep bass, sharp highs, and a balanced sound profile regardless of genre. The mids do sound a bit recessed sometimes, but the overall clarity is still great for this price point.

The NoiseFit app brings a lot of functionality to the Master Buds Max. There are sound profiles that can be customized, switching between ANC, Transparency, and Normal modes, and even changing EQ settings for bass, mids, and treble. Spatial Audio is there as well, but the effect feels subtle instead of dramatic.
Other features that come in handy are Focus Mode to turn off touch controls, dual pairing to pair with two devices at once, and Find My Device to find lost headphones. The app itself is simple to use and makes these headphones feel much more premium than their price point would indicate.
Active Noise Cancellation: Surprisingly Effective
In the ₹10,000 category, the Master Buds Max provides first-class ANC performance. With noise cancellation of up to 40dB, they successfully drown out most ambient sounds. Even in noisy spaces, the ANC successfully mutes background conversations and mechanical noises effectively.
The five internal microphones read external sound in real-time to maximize noise reduction, and the Transparency Mode permits external voices to cut through when desired. They can’t match Sony or Bose flagships outright, but they get remarkably close for one-third of the cost.

Battery life is also another forte. Noise provides claims of up to 60 hours of playtime without ANC and 48 hours with ANC active, and actual usage corroborates these figures. Even on heavy usage, the battery comfortably lasts more than a couple of days.
With rapid charging, a brief 10-minute charge gives close to 10 hours of playback. The headphones are charged using USB Type-C, and they are easy for the contemporary user. Business travelers will find how infrequently these need charging to be a huge plus.

For under ₹10,000 (at launch), the Noise Master Buds Max do more than hold their own. They pair superb sound quality, solid ANC, customizable controls, and great battery life all in a premium, comfortable package.
While the button arrangement can be better and the looks may not be anyone’s cup of tea, the overall performance is top-notch for the money. For anyone looking for premium-grade features for less than ₹10,000, the Master Buds Max are one of the best deals out there today.
