IPO: Issuance of New Shares
It is worth noting that this IPO consists entirely of the issuance of new shares by the company. There is no ‘Offer for Sale’ (OFS) component, meaning existing shareholders are not selling their stakes. The proceeds from the issuance of new shares go directly to the company, which can then be utilised for its corporate schemes and defined business objectives.

Subscription Process
Investors could complete their subscription for the Jio IPO within 100 minutes. Given the high level of interest, the volume of applications across various investor categories could potentially lead to a longer processing time. The strong demand from investors has driven significant interest in the offering.

Potential to Become a Major Listed Entity
The price band for the IPO is reported to be around ₹1,119. Based on this valuation, analysts estimate Jio’s market capitalisation at approximately ₹10.3 lakh crore. If the shares are listed at this valuation, the company could emerge as one of the largest publicly traded companies in the country by market capitalisation.
