iQOO Neo 12 Launch Date Confirmed: If you enjoy gaming, iQOO has a new phone in store for you. The company has officially announced the launch date for the iQOO Neo 12. Designed specifically for gamers, this device focuses on high performance and robust hardware. It will feature a powerful camera, a 9000 mAh battery, and an ‘Ice Dome Active Cooling System’. The gaming smartphone is expected to be equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, a dedicated Q3 gaming chip, and a 9000 mAh battery. Let’s take a closer look at the details.
iQOO Neo 12 Design
The design of the iQOO Neo 12 stands out from its predecessor, offering a striking, premium look—thanks in part to its polished metal frame. On the back, the phone features a square-shaped camera module.
Within this module, two camera lenses are positioned vertically, one above the other, while the flash is located outside the module. Additionally, the back panel sports “Monster Inside” branding, along with a circular mesh grille located near the camera lenses.
Colour Options
The iQOO Neo 12 will be available in three colour options: Contest, Shadow Black, and Frost Blade Blue. The Shadow Black variant features a silver finish, while the Frost Blade Blue comes in a light blue hue. The ‘Contest’ variant is particularly unique, with its back panel featuring a textured finish.
Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Chipset
The iQOO Neo 12 will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, complemented by the company’s own Q3 gaming chip. This combination is engineered to deliver superior performance during gaming sessions, with the Q3 gaming chip serving as a key highlight of the device. Cooling System
Smartphones tend to heat up during extended gaming sessions. Keeping this in mind, the iQOO Neo 12 will feature an ‘Ice Dome’ active cooling system with an integrated cooling fan. This system helps dissipate the heat generated inside the phone. This feature is particularly useful for those who spend long hours playing games like BGMI, Call of Duty: Mobile, or other titles.
9000mAh Battery and 100W Fast Charging
According to reports, the iQOO Neo 12 may come equipped with a massive 9000 mAh battery. It is also expected to support 100W wired fast charging. However, the company has not yet officially confirmed these specifications.
Bookings and India Launch
The iQOO Neo 12 is currently available for pre-booking on the Vivo China website. This device will succeed the iQOO Neo 11, which was introduced in October 2025. Details regarding its pricing, availability, and launch outside of China have not yet been disclosed. Furthermore, the company has not made any announcements concerning its launch in India.
