Weather Forecast – IMD Warning Cold Wave, Rain & Temperatures Drop in These States for next 3 Days

Weather Update: Since Wednesday, the cold outbreak has increased in most of North India. The temperature has almost reached freezing in some parts of Rajasthan and Himachal Pradesh. However, people have gotten some relief from the sunshine in the afternoon in Delhi-NCR.

Given the cold wave and dense fog, the Meteorological Department has also issued an alert for today. According to the Meteorological Department, there may be a significant drop in temperature due to snowfall in the hilly areas of Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand.

The temperature has also reached 5 degrees in the plains. According to the Meteorological Department, rain is predicted in Delhi-NCR over the weekend. A cold wave will continue for the next few days in different areas of Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan, Jammu and Kashmir, and Ladakh. Temperature drops in northern states

The night temperature in the Kashmir Valley has reached below zero. In addition, -9.8 degrees Celsius was recorded in Gulmarg. The minimum temperature in Srinagar was -1 degrees Celsius, while in Pahalgam, it was -8.2 degrees Celsius. According to the Meteorological Department, dry weather is expected in the coming days.

On Saturday, snowfall or rain is possible in various places. Rajasthan is also experiencing a severe cold. Temperatures have been recorded in Nagaur (1.7 degrees Celsius), Sirohi (2.7 degrees Celsius), and Jalore (2.9 degrees Celsius). Visibility became zero due to dense fog in Punjab and Haryana. Punjab recorded the coldest temperature.

The cold wave will likely affect Himachal Pradesh on Thursday and Friday. On Friday and Saturday, similar weather may prevail in Jammu, Kashmir, and Ladakh. Frigid conditions persist in some parts of Rajasthan.

Cold day alert in UP

Today, the minimum temperature in Delhi is 5 degrees. On January 9, severe cold conditions will likely persist in some places in Uttar Pradesh. At the same time, dense fog may trouble people at night and in the morning until January 10.
