Monsoon Update: The weather pattern across the country appears to be shifting. In the plains of North India, the spell of rain and thunderstorms continues unabated. Meanwhile, snowfall is predicted to persist in the hilly states. In Delhi-NCR, the sun is shining today, and residents are beginning to feel the heat. In 2025, the rainy spell has not subsided even after the monsoon season; instead, pre-monsoon activity has intensified across the country. Consequently, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an alert for several states, anticipating heavy rainfall on April 10, 11, and 12.

The Meteorological Department has issued an alert indicating that light to moderate rainfall is expected at various locations across Rajasthan, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Jammu & Kashmir, and Ladakh on April 10, 11, and 12. The Meteorological Department further forecasts that Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Manipur, Assam, Mizoram, Tripura, and Nagaland may experience heavy rainfall on April 10, 11, and 12.
