This English assignment has been posted on X by a professor at Pennsylvania State University. Recently, a student’s English assignment was shared online with its mistakes.
The assignment contained many mistakes, which the professor corrected and wrote, which caused controversy. Professor Thomas Joudrey posted a picture of the student’s assignment on X, and the photo shows grammatical errors. In his caption, Joudrey expressed disappointment and wrote, “Undergrad writing has gotten so bad.”
Look at what one of my students turned in. However, sharp-eyed users immediately understood that this passage was a retyped section of Karl Popper’s The Open Society and Its Enemies, a famous philosophical work in 1945.
