The central government started the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana to provide financial benefits to farmers. Farmers receive the amount in three annual instalments. Each instalment deposits ₹2,000 directly into farmers’ accounts, totalling ₹6,000 per year.
The government has released the 18th instalment, which was credited to farmers’ accounts on October 5, 2024. This instalment has benefited over 11 crore farmers. Now, millions of farmers are eagerly waiting for the 19th instalment, expected to be deposited by the end of December or January.
E-KYC is Mandatory for PM Kisan Yojana
To receive benefits under PM Kisan Yojana, farmers must complete the e-KYC process. It is required by the scheme, and those who skip it cannot avail the benefits. Farmers can complete e-KYC online or offline and must upload a copy of the land document for verification.
How to Complete e-KYC
- Visit pmkisan.gov.in.
- Click on “e-KYC.”
- Enter your Aadhaar number and click “Get OTP.”
- Enter the OTP and submit.
If you have done e-KYC then you can check your name in the beneficiary list of the scheme. After checking the name in the list, you will know whether you will get the benefit of the next instalment or not.
Verify Your Name in the Beneficiary List
- Go to the “Farmer Corner” on the PM Kisan website.
- Click “Beneficiary List.”
- Fill in details like state, district, block, and village.
- Check your name on the list to confirm eligibility for the next installment
