New Rules For Jio, Airtel, Vi – No more spam calls & messages

Rules Changes From December 2024:- The government is taking many steps to relieve the people from fake calls and messages. In this episode, a new rule of message traceability has been implemented by the government body, the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India, TRAI.

These rules will come into force nationwide starting today, i.e., December 1, 2024. After implementing this rule, you can find the origin and source of any message. In such a situation, the identity of fake callers in the country will be revealed, eliminating counterfeit calls to mobile users. Most people are very much troubled by counterfeit calls.

Why the new rule was implemented

One of the purposes of implementing the new rule is to ensure that all messages coming from the telecom company’s route are traceable. Banking and promotional telemarketing messages can be kept separate in this system. Along with this, an alert has been issued regarding suspicious or promotional messages. So that mobile users can be alerted about the possibility of fraud.

The government extended the deadline

.The deadline for implementing the message traceability rule by TRAI was earlier on October 31, 20244, which was extended by one more November 30,202424, on the demand of telecom operators like Jio, Airtel and Vodafone-Idea. In such a situation, from December 1, 2024, those who send fake messages will be in trouble.

There will be no delay in getting messag.es

TRAI has clarified that no one needs to panic about implementing the new messaging rule. Some reports claimed that After imparting the new messaging rules, there would be a delay in receiving net banking and Aadhaar OTP messages, which may cause problems in onlinewithayment.

However, TRAI says there will not be any such problem. According to TRAI, despite implementing the rules from December 1, 2024, there will be no problem getting net banking and Aadhaar OTP.
