Monsoon Update – Weather to Turn Bad in UP, Know District-wise Forecast

UP Monsoon Forecast: The weather in Uttar Pradesh is changing rapidly, with cold winds and light rain observed in some areas. The slight rainfall in some districts has led to a renewed chill, prompting people to light bonfires. Since 7 AM on Sunday, sunshine has been observed in some parts of UP, causing temperatures to rise.
The weather may remain unsettled on Republic Day due to an active Western Disturbance, potentially disrupting the planned celebrations. However, no official alert has been issued regarding rain or storms on January 26th. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a surprising warning regarding the weather in UP.
Here’s the weather forecast for these districts
The Indian Meteorological Department predicts clear weather in Saharanpur, Muzaffarnagar, Bijnor, Moradabad, Bulandshahr, Mathura, Hathras, and Aligarh. Sunshine is also expected in Agra, Sambhal, Rampur, Badaun, Bareilly, Ayodhya, Basti, Sitapur, Shravasti, and Bahraich.
The IMD also forecasts clear weather in Balrampur, Lakhimpur Kheri, Hardoi, Siddharthnagar, Gorakhpur, and Firozabad. Hathras, Meerut, Hapur, Pilibhit, Shahjahanpur, Kanpur, Kannauj, Etawah, Sitapur, Varanasi, Mirzapur, Chandauli, Jaunpur, Amethi, and Raebareli are expected to have clear weather with light winds and pleasant sunshine. The maximum temperature in these districts is expected to be around 28 degrees Celsius, and the minimum around 8 degrees Celsius.
The weather will change in these cities after two days
In Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, there was a slight fog on Sunday morning. As the day progressed, the sky cleared, and sunshine was observed. The minimum temperature is expected to be 9 degrees Celsius and the maximum 23 degrees Celsius.
However, after two days, there is a possibility of cloudy skies and rain in Lucknow. A light fog was observed early this morning in Noida and Greater Noida, adjacent to the capital city of Delhi. The minimum temperature is expected to be 9 degrees Celsius and the maximum 21 degrees Celsius. Meanwhile, there is a possibility of cloudy skies in Noida for the next two days.
Sudden temperature rise expected.
According to meteorologist Professor Manoj Kumar Srivastava, a sudden and significant increase in maximum temperatures is expected in most districts of western Uttar Pradesh within the next 24 hours. No further changes are anticipated after that.
