In Delhi and Uttar Pradesh, bright sunshine prevails alongside breezy conditions; temperatures here are expected to rise further. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), a warning for heavy rainfall accompanied by thunder and lightning has been issued for several states, valid until April 18. Warning for Heavy Rainfall in These States
According to the IMD, spells of rain may be observed in certain pockets of Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh on April 14, 15, 16, and 17. Additionally, rain alerts have been issued for Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Sikkim, and Tamil Nadu.The IMD has also issued rain warnings for Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Mahe, Puducherry, Rayalaseema, Karaikal, and Assam. Furthermore, a warning for heavy rainfall has been issued for Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Tripura, Mizoram, and Nagaland. Alerts have been issued for strong winds, dust storms, thunderstorms accompanied by lightning, and potential hailstorms in several districts within these regions.
