Know the weather forecast for Uttar Pradesh.

According to the Meteorological Department, dry weather is expected in both eastern and western Uttar Pradesh. There is no possibility of rain in these areas. An orange alert has also been issued for dense to very dense fog in both regions.

Clear weather is also expected on January 31st. Dense fog may prevail in some parts of eastern Uttar Pradesh. A drop of 2 degrees Celsius in the minimum temperature is expected during the next 48 hours.

According to the IMD, rain is expected from the beginning of February. On February 1st, thunderstorms and heavy rain are expected in some places in western Uttar Pradesh. Following this, a rain warning has been issued for both regions of the state on February 2nd and 3rd.

Along with thunderstorms and lightning, strong winds are also expected. No significant change in maximum temperatures is expected during the next 3 days. Then, the temperature is expected to gradually rise by 2 to 4 degrees over the next two days. After 48 hours, a rise of 3-5 degrees is possible. A drop of 2-3 degrees Celsius in temperature is also expected.

Fog Alert in These Districts

According to the Meteorological Department, dense fog is expected in Kushinagar, Maharajganj, Siddharth Nagar, Lakhimpur Kheri, and Sitapur. Besides these, fog is also expected in Saharanpur, Shamli, Balrampur, Shravasti, Bahraich, Muzaffarnagar, Baghpat, Meerut, and Bareilly. Pilibhit, Shahjahanpur, Sambhal, Badaun, Bijnor, Amroha, Moradabad, and Rampur may also be covered in a blanket of fog.

It is worth noting that Bulandshahr was the coldest district in Uttar Pradesh on Thursday, with a minimum temperature of 8.6 degrees Celsius. Bareilly and Hardoi recorded a minimum temperature of 9 degrees Celsius. In the last 24 hours, Hardoi recorded the highest temperature, with a maximum of 26.4 degrees Celsius, which is 4.4 degrees Celsius above normal.
