From 19 to January 20, there will be fog in the areas of Banda, Chitrakoot, Kaushambi, Prayagraj, Fatehpur, Sonbhadra, Mirzapur, Chandauli, Varanasi, Sant Ravidasnagar, Ghazipur, Azamgarh, Mau, Ballia, Deoria, Kushinagar, Gorakhpur, Maharajganj, Gonda, Balrampur. The weather will be evident in the entire state starting Monday.

Rainfall and snowfall alert

According to the Meteorological Department, sporadic rainfall or snowfall in the western Himalayan regions is possible until January 21. There is a possibility of light rain in the northwestern Indian plains from January 21 to January 23. Light rain is expected in Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh on January 22. Similar weather is also expected in western Uttar Pradesh on January 22 and January 23. Apart from this, heavy snowfall is expected in Uttarakhand on January 23.

Dense Fog Warning
According to the Meteorological Department, dense fog may occur in Bihar, Odisha and Uttarakhand in the morning and night of January 19. An alert was issued regarding fog in Uttar Pradesh, Western Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, and Punjab from January 19 to January 21. Fog will likely prevail in West Bengal, Sikkim, and Mand Madhya Pradesh till January 20, while fog will likely succeed in northeastern areas like Manipur, Assam, Tripura, Nagaland and Meghalaya till January 21.
