Also, heavy rains may continue at various locations in coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema. The winter effect has started showing in Uttar Pradesh. On Sunday night, the minimum temperature in Ayodhya was recorded at 2.5 degrees Celsius. A record drop of 6.6 degrees was recorded in Ballia, which is much below normal. At the same time, the night temperature in Lucknow was recorded at 7.4 degrees Celsius with a drop of two degrees. The Meteorological Department has warned of cold waves and dense fog for the next two to three days.
