Aaj Ka Mausam: Winter has started knocking in most of the country’s states. Now the day temperature is also falling. The effect of winter can be seen in the capital, Delhi. Many vital works, from school to transport, have been affected. IMD has issued an alert regarding fog in more than five states, including Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.
According to IMD, dense fog will be seen in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, North Rajasthan, North Uttar Pradesh and Bihar starting Monday. At the same time, dense fog may also remain during the next 24 hours. Thick fog is expected in some areas of Himachal Pradesh late night and morning during the next 5 days.
According to the Meteorological Department, dense fog will persist for the next two days, late at night and in the morning. Thick fog is also expected in some areas of Himachal Pradesh for the next five days.
IMD rainfall alert
IMD has issued a warning regarding light to moderate rainfall in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Kerala and Mahe on November 18. Thunderstorms and lightning have also been predicted in some places. Heavy rain is likely at these places.
Rain warning in these states
According to the Indian Meteorological Department, an alert has been issued due to rain in many Tamil Nadu and Kerala areas. A warning has been issued for rain accompanied by thunderstorms in Kanyakumari, Tirunelveli, Thoothukudi, Ramanathapuram, Sivagangai, Pudukkottai and Thanjavur in Tamil Nadu.
Also, rain can be seen in Tiruvarur, Nagapattinam, Mayiladuthurai, Ariyalur and Cuddalore. At the same time, heavy rains accompanied by thunderstorms can be seen in Thrissur, Ernakulam, Idukki, Kozhikode and Wayanad in Kerala.
