Monsoon Alert – IMD Issues 72-Hour Warning for Rain and Snowfall in 10 States, Hailstorm to Return from January 31

The Meteorological Department has issued an alert for February 1st, anticipating snowfall with thunderstorms in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand. Yellow Alert for Fog in 16 Districts
Western UP: An alert has been issued for dense fog in Saharanpur, Shamli, Muzaffarnagar, Bijnor, Moradabad, Rampur, and Bareilly.

Terai and Eastern UP: A fog warning has been issued for Pilibhit, Lakhimpur Kheri, Bahraich, Shravasti, Balrampur, Siddharthnagar, Maharajganj, Kushinagar, and Deoria.

Weather to Worsen Again from January 31st
According to meteorologists, a new Western Disturbance is expected to become active from January 31st, with its effects seen across the state between February 1st and February 3rd. Moderate rain is possible again in Noida, Ghaziabad, Meerut, Lucknow, Raebareli, and Saharanpur. After this rain, the minimum temperature in Uttar Pradesh will drop sharply, and the cold wave may return.

Rain Warning in 10 States
The Meteorological Department has issued an alert for heavy rain and snowfall in Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, West Bengal, Sikkim, and Rajasthan. According to the IMD, light to moderate rainfall is expected in the plains of Northwest India, including Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Western UP, and Rajasthan, between January 31st and February 2nd. The Meteorological Department has also predicted thunderstorms, lightning, and strong winds in some areas.

Weather in Delhi
The weather in Delhi has changed once again. According to the Meteorological Department, the sky will remain cloudy today, and it will feel cold. The maximum temperature in Delhi is expected to be between 16 and 18 degrees Celsius.

Weather in Uttar Pradesh
Due to a Western Disturbance, there is a possibility of rain and hailstorms, along with strong winds, in Uttar Pradesh. The Meteorological Department has predicted light to moderate rainfall in the next 24 hours. After the rain on Tuesday night, the cold has intensified in the state. According to the IMD, the night temperature may drop to 3-5 degrees Celsius. A change in the weather is expected again after February 2nd.

Weather in Bihar
The Meteorological Department has issued an alert for the next two days. Light rain is expected in some areas of Northwest and North-Central Bihar.
