New Kisan Karj Mafi: Good news has come once again for the farmers. The governments of Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh have started a scheme to waive loans of up to Rs 2 lakh of farmers. With this scheme, farmers will get relief from the loan taken for farming and they will be financially strong.
The main goal of the Kisan Karj Mafi Yojana is to free the farmers from the burden of debt. With this, farmers will be able to invest more money in their farming without any worry. This scheme will not only improve the financial condition of the farmers but will also prepare them for the future.
Who will get the benefit?
- The farmer should be a resident of Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan or Madhya Pradesh.
- Only the loan taken for farming will be waived.
- The farmers age should be more than 18 years.
- Small farmers whose loan is up to Rs 2 lakh can take advantage of this scheme.
How much loan will be waived?
Under this scheme, Loans up to Rs 1 lakh and Rs 2 lakh will be waived off. This scheme was started in Uttar Pradesh in 2017, when loans up to Rs 1 lakh of more than 35 lakh farmers were waived.
