New Delhi: A massive fire broke out at an electricity meter manufacturing factory in Noida, adjacent to Delhi, injuring 37 employees. A short circuit is being reported as the cause of the fire, causing widespread panic. The fire broke out during a work shift, and a large number of employees were present.
Fire brigade personnel arrived at the scene upon receiving information,n and efforts are underway to control the fire. After extensive efforts, the trapped employees were safely evacuated.
When did the fire break out?
The fire broke out at around 5:30 a.m. on Thursday at Capital Power System Limited’s electricity meter manufacturing factory, located in B-40, Sector 4, in the Phase 1 police station area of Noida. Around 341 employees were on duty at the factory. A stampede broke out among the employees.
Upon receiving information, the fire department and police arrived at the scene and evacuated the employees safely. 37 employees suffered burns,s and several others were injured. All the injured were taken to the district hospital in Sector 39 for treatment. Some of the injured were discharged after first aid, while others are undergoing treatment.
