Delhi on High Alert -Terrorist Threat to Red Fort and Religious Sites, Police Force Deployed

New Delhi: A few days ago, a terrorist attack took place in the capital, Delhi, claiming the lives of several people. The terrorist organisation Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) was planning another series of attacks during Holi, but security agencies are already on high alert.

Indian intelligence agencies received information that the Pakistan-backed Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) was planning a bombing in front of the Red Fort. Upon receiving this information, the Delhi Police became extremely vigilant. Security has been increased by deploying personnel around the Red Fort and temples.

Every suspect is now being monitored. A few months ago, a suicide attack also took place near the Red Fort, claiming several lives. As a precaution, the Delhi Police has placed religious sites under security cover.

According to a senior official, intelligence agencies have received information indicating a terrorist threat in Delhi. Following this, security was increased at key religious and ancient sites in Delhi on Saturday. This includes the areas around the Red Fort and parts of Chandni Chowk.
