Ajit Pawar Dies: A private plane carrying NCP leader and Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Ajit Pawar, has crashed near Baramati. The news has caused a stir among the public. According to reports, the accident occurred when his chartered plane was approaching the Baramati runway for landing. Ajit Pawar was travelling from Mumbai to Baramati to attend events related to the district council elections. Sources say that five people, including Ajit Pawar, have died in the accident. Videos and pictures of the crash have also surfaced on social media. The viral images show the plane lying in a field, engulfed in flames. Thick smoke is seen rising from the wreckage. The plane has been completely destroyed. News agency PTI has confirmed Ajit Pawar’s death.
It is reported that the chartered plane crashed during landing at Baramati airport. The accident occurred while Ajit Pawar was travelling to Baramati for events related to the district council elections scheduled for February 5th in Pune district.
According to preliminary information, Ajit Pawar sustained serious injuries in the accident. Just minutes before the crash, Ajit Pawar had shared a post on social media, commemorating the great freedom fighter Lala Lajpat Rai on his birth anniversary.

It is still unclear whether the accident was caused by a crash landing or a technical malfunction. NCP leader Majid Memon has also confirmed that Ajit Pawar was scheduled to arrive in Baramati.
