Hyundai is set to launch 4 new SUVs by 2027 to strengthen its hold in the Indian market. The company plans to launch 26 new models by 2027-28, including 7 all-new names. The 4 new SUVs include the new-generation Creta, the electric micro-SUV HE1i, the global SUV Bayon, and the 7-seater hybrid SUV Ni1i.
Hyundai has set a target of 8-10% sales growth in FY2027 to regain its lost market share, and has fixed a capital expenditure of Rs 750 crore for the same. The Tata Punch EV rivals the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Fronx, Hyundai Venue and the Tata Harrier; among others in the Indian market.
