Hero Mavrick 440: Hero MotoCorp is preparing to strengthen its hold in the premium motorcycle segment. The company is bringing back the Mavrick 440 in a new style. Recently, a new version appeared in Spy Shots, confirming the motorcycle’s return. The company has not yet officially announced its launch. Hero Mavrick 440 may return in a new premium variant. The new model is expected to feature a gold-finish USD Fork and a portrait-style TFT Display, which could make it tough competition for rivals.
Hero Mavrick 440 USD Fork
The first thing that catches your attention in the new bike is its front suspension. In this, upside-down (i.e., USD) Forks are visible and have a gold finish. This setup makes the bike’s front look sportier and more premium than before.
TFT Instrument Cluster
The other major change in the new Maverick 440 could be its Portrait-Style TFT Instrument Cluster. In the current setup, this will give the bike a more modern feel. Many connected features are also expected to be available on this display.
This TFT screen may be similar to the display setup on the Harley-Davidson X440, since the mechanical base of the X440 and Maverick 440 is quite similar. It is expected to have features like Turn-by-Turn Navigation, Call and SMS Alerts, and App Support.
Top Variant
It has not been revealed whether Hero will limit these two features to the top variants or offer them across all variants. Karizma XMR 210 is a good example of this. Initially, USD Forks and the TFT Cluster were offered only in the top variant, but later Hero made them standard equipment and removed the old base variant from the lineup.
Why will Mavrick 440 come again?
Hero MotoCorp has a big target in the premium segment. The company wants products in its portfolio that are strong not only on price but also in features and technology. As such, the Mavrick 440 has been one of the company’s flagship motorcycles so far.
