Customs duty removed on which electronic parts?The government has removed customs duty on essential electronic components like display modules, backlight units, FPCA, NFC coils and NdFeB magnets to boost electronics manufacturing in the country.
This exemption has been given till March 31, 2029. This decision will reduce the manufacturing cost of smartphones, cars, medical devices and industrial machines, which will directly benefit the customers in the form of cheaper prices during the festive season.
