Gold Price Weekly: Significant volatility has been observed in gold and silver prices this week. Fluctuating rates have left people anxious and confused; sudden drops of up to ₹500 in gold prices are being followed by surges of up to ₹1,000 the very next day. Consequently, people are unsure about how to proceed with purchasing gold.
According to the latest data released by the India Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA), the price of 24-carat gold rose by ₹6,471 this week to reach ₹1,46,344 per 10 grams, up from the previous ₹1,39,873. Similarly, the price of 22-carat gold increased to ₹1,34,051 per 10 grams, up from ₹1,28,124 earlier.
Silver Price
Like gold, silver prices also rose sharply this week. Silver prices surged by ₹17,317 to hit an all-time high of ₹2,33,858 per kilogram, up from ₹2,16,541. The price of silver stood at ₹2,21,355 on July 1 and climbed to ₹2,33,858 by the evening session on July 3.

The rate for 24-carat gold increased by ₹6,471 this week. By the time the market closed, the price had reached ₹1,46,344 per 10 grams.
The price of 22-carat gold rose by ₹5,927 to reach ₹1,34,051 per 10 grams, up from the previous ₹1,28,124 per 10 grams.
The price of 18-carat gold increased by ₹4,853 to reach ₹1,09,758 per 10 grams. …which was previously ₹1,04,905 per 10 grams.
The price of 14-carat gold has risen by ₹3,785 to ₹85,611 per 10 grams, up from ₹81,826 per 10 grams earlier.
